We can give your child the core skills, confidence and the practice they need to achieve their very best.

We pride ourselves on lifting the standards of all our pupils and demonstrating this with regular feedback.

We believe that parents should play an integral part in improving their children’s performance and we always make time to keep parents informed of progress.

All Examberry tutors are CRB checked.

At Examberry we run small friendly classes taking no more than 8 children per class. This allows the children to make friends and most children enjoy coming to our classes.  The atmosphere is supportive and the children make excellent progress with us.

If a child cannot make their regular session then, if they e-mail us in advance, we can usually arrange for them to attend an alternative session on a different day. Alternatively, if they cannot make any of our classes then we will post the work to them with explanations and answers for the parents to mark the work. That way a child never misses or falls behind on the coursework or homework.

All coursework is copyrighted and written by Examberry.  Our materials are not licenced to any other company.

Year 4:  Foundation Course: September - July

This provides one hour of Maths and one hour of English.  The course is slightly geared towards the requirements of the 11+ exams and leads nicely on to the 11+ course in September.

We recommend that all pupils thinking about the 11 plus exams should enrol for the Foundation Course as over the years, pupils who have attended the Foundation Course have found it to be extremely valuable.

Year 5: 11 Plus Course: September - JULY

This follows on from the Foundation Course and consists of 4 separate courses:

Maths, English, Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning and CEM 2 hours 45 mins each week

We begin by teaching all of the techniques for English, Maths Verbal, Non-Verbal Reasoning and CEM for the first half of the year , before we progress to full length papers which are used for class work and homework. Throughout the course we support parents to help their child achieve their very best by providing numerous tips and advice in preparation for the Grammar Schools and Independent entrance exams.

Many of our pupils also attend this course simply to improve their Maths and English at school.
